It features a 220 degree lidar that combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the best robot cleaner navigation and object avoidance that I've ever seen in a robot vacuum. It has a hefty 4600mAh battery which lasts up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can run longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery mid-clean.

It's extremely efficient and does an outstanding job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways in just one motion. Its 8,000pa suction motor is quick at picking up dirt, crumbs and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects carpets and the double side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, isn't as good. The mop rotates at a high speed and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scraping away dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a bit more than other robots. This is useful when you're trying to get into difficult corners or along baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to collect larger debris such as books and toys that have been damaged.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't make more noise when vacuuming or mopping. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for its mopping function and is separate from the vacuum. It is simple to install and works well. However when you purchase this robot vacuum for mopping purposes you must pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums which mops in its class. It comes with a wide array of features that make it a great option for homeowners looking for an efficient, flexible and adaptable cleaning machine.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our review, but it comes with some distinctive features that are worth taking into consideration. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its enormous dock that serves as the robot vacuum cleaner reviews's charging base and housing for two water tanks, a clean sink, and an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically emptys.

The base has a couple of buttons for control that allow you to manually start a cleaning task or recall the robot, or use the dock's auto-emptying procedure. Press two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents who are concerned about their children playing with the vacuum.

Similar to other robotic hoovers vacuums, the X1 Omni uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more accurate in finding objects.

This can cause the X1 to get stuck if it gets caught in a hazard, such as a power cable tangled over a rug. It won't function until you manually untangle it. While this was rare but it was a very frustrating experience when it did happen, especially since the X1 Omni doesn't come with a "stuck" status alert on its app.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad, except that the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

On the positive side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a significant difference from the utilitarian black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. It's also an impressive sight in a market dominated by clunky boxy models.
