World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade

Item upgrade allows players to increase the level of equippable weapons and armor. This boosts the effectiveness of the equipment, in addition to sometimes adding buffs or rolling an affix again.

In addition, an upgraded item may be able to provide extra buffs for its equipped unit. These upgrades are able to boost the overall power of a group or unit, and may be a major influence on the gameplay.

Items can be upgraded at any item upgrader NPC in the game. These NPCs are located in major questing areas, or capital cities. Players can also find upgraders in dungeons that have high-level bosses, or by talking to the NPCs in their faction's garrisons.

The World of Warcraft item upgrade system allows players to upgrade the level of weapons, armor and trinkets. This process is very similar to the process of reforging gear in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor, but instead of using the appropriate currency players must visit an item upgrader NPC to complete the process.

Upgrades to items can be expensive, particularly when it is related to armor and weapons. Depending on the upgrade track, each step up in level of the item could cost many Valorstones and crests. The total cost could be a major burden for players who don't have the resources or aren't willing to grind them.

Fortunately the game allows players to play a reroll of an upgraded item by using an additional tool available in the items menu. This option exchanges the upgraded item for an equivalent version at level 1 which comes with an additional set of bonus effects. This can be useful to get better rolls on items that are already upgraded. However, it could be a waste of time.

Requirements

The process of upgrading items that are equippable like weapons, armor and trinkets is to raise the level of the item. This can increase their effectiveness which makes them more powerful in combat. Time

Upgrades to items are a method to boost your ship's stats and gear without the need to upgrade them. They're not cheap, but they are a good way to increase your stats without having to spend a lot of time fighting. It's crucial to know the benefits and costs prior to making the investment of time or money.

Each upgrade item increases the item's base stat a certain amount and gives a chance to get a bonus substat. The additional substat is randomly assigned, and can vary from a slight increase in one stat to a larger increase in another. The maximum upgrade level of an item is determined by the item level upgrade's tier and its quality.
