World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

Best item upgrade upgrading, Read This method, allows players to boost the gear score of an item to 700 and also add a final perk. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you bring them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upgraded for their unique stats (like an ideally broken point armour that is rolled for melee PvP) while others like weapons do not change significantly after an upgrade, so they aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to improve their numeric stats, such as crit chance, attack damage PvE and PvP damage. Weapons come with a flat rate bonus that increases damage per second. Many weapons also come with an unaffected bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are placed in a group. In some instances, this bonus can add up to more than the amount of damage that a weapon can sustain on its own.

A weapon's upgrade costs depend on the nature of the weapon as well as its current level. For instance, a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while the +3 model requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade the gun will increase until it requires a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons also change the stats of their base. While this is usually an excellent thing, it can have some negative effects as well. Upgrades can render items inaccessible, unless you're very lucky.

The ability to upgrade armor items to increase their performance. This can increase the base defense of a helm or chest, while belts and gloves will boost their required strength and agility. Armor also offers an option to reroll its Enhanced Defense%, meaning that it could roll back to a lower number.

The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain after upgrading, along with the relative values of those stats. This means that the weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. However the 3% does not mean that it will hit for 3 times less often, since it is an absolute statistic.

A weapon can also be rerolled using the green button that has circular arrows within the menu for items. This will roll the item and alter its stats but it won't reset the weapon's level nor connect to the status of your account.

Armor

A few tweaks to your armor can make a a huge difference in your capacity to withstand. Certain sets provide massive increases in poison, curse, fire and magic resistance, making the journey through difficult terrain a breeze. In general, the greater defense you have for your character, the more health you will get from each point. Therefore, it's a good idea to upgrade your armor.

To upgrade your armor, go to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four Great Fairy Fountains within the game and to unlock each one you have to complete an additional quest that involves the Stable Trotters. After you've completed your main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you can talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor will differ. In general, you'll be looking at anything from three to ten Red Chuchu Jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. For example, the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep pace with a decent-sized group of adversaries in most cold conditions and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded all the way to +20 defense, giving the protection needed to survive an entire raid with a handful of friends.

It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll want to work on upgrading it to gain physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power when you're Mage. It is recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade items the armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the story, like the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you wear in the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town, you can unlock some perks on your armor. You'll generally want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game. For example the Longsword or Battleaxe. However, it's beneficial to have a few upgrades to the chest armor and helmets to let you sneak around some monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that when consumed by a participant, produce an immediate effect. There are five kinds of potions, each with different effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded, increasing their level of effect. Alternatively the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding glowstone dust or redstone to them.

Potion upgrades cost a certain amount of XP. These can be earned by crafting them on a table or in an Alchemist's chest. The price of upgrades varies based on the type of potion used and the item's Rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion, click right on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open a GUI which allows you to choose the potion that you would like to upgrade and the amount of experience they'll offer when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a time, and the XP that they generate will be added to your current XP count.

Once a poton is upgraded, it will not degrade until you take it out again or break the bottle in which it is kept. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to rename it.

There were a few updates to potion mechanics in version 1.7.2. For instance the splash potions now have an average duration of 0.08 seconds (this is not the equivalent of 22.5 seconds displayed on the hover display of the item). The table for potion can now be constructed using four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be used by players in Survival and Bedrock. Contrary to Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions can't be mixed in cauldrons. Similarly, using a potion on a full cauldron, it drains the contents and replenishes the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions, which are made with splash and dragon breath potions. In the same way, a lingering potion can be enhanced by adding redstone. The table of potions has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added, like the potion of leaping and decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket is a small, inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to an object or ornament that serves a function but isn't particularly significant, such as a trinket. In some cultures, a trinket is a way to express friendship or affection between family members.

Trinkets can be upgraded by players as well as weapons or armor, as well as potions. Upgrades can be purchased by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other item upgrades trinkets are able to be exchanged at will without losing their status.

Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of every zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are bought with tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.

Upgrades are a less expensive alternative to buying a new trinket. It is possible to upgrade a player for just 12 tokens. The new trinket comes with the same base level as the old trinket, but will also have an additional bonus of 1% upgrade.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded once the old ones are no longer useful and allows players to increase their power and worth over time. They can also be traded between players and are a popular alternative to gold.

In general players should make upgrades to their highest priority items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are upgraded first then their secondary gear, and then other pieces of equipment they won't replace in the near future (such as an earring or a cloak). When deciding on which items to upgrade items players should also take into account their class's preferred statistics. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for tank players, then they should upgrade their helm, chest and shoulders.

After they've become unusable trinkets can be upgraded to a greater level. The new trinket has an additional bonus of 1. A re-upgrade, however, can cause damage to the trinket unless it is saved using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a higher tier salvage tool. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, however it is still less expensive than buying an entirely new trinket.
