How to Tame a Blue Macaw and Red Macaw

Macaws generally choose a partner and spend much of their time together, sharing meals and grooming each other, as well as taking care of their young. Unfortunately, these majestic birds are teetering towards being extinct in their habitat.

Great Green Macaw

A member of the parrot family, blue and gold macaws are neotropical birds native to forest (especially in areas of varzea) and woodland and savannah habitats found in tropical Central America and South America as in Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean. They are mostly blue in their tail and dorsum feathers with accents of yellow or gold and gradient hues of green on their heads. Their wings and wing covers are blue with green highlights. Their feet are zygodactyl with two toes pointing forward and two pointing backwards, a design that allows them to grasp branches with ease.
