The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rug.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ based on how often you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming blocked. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. But, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other combos that require more care.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robot vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8,700Pa suction power and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just dragging a pad across the surface. Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and small particles from hard floors as well as carpets.
