WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in certain stats. Each upgrade items increases item level by 3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

The more modernized gear generally has a more value in trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variance (like eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for the latter because of the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks, to ensure that your equipment is up to date.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the level of the item however they'll always be cheaper than purchasing new gear. For example upgrading a Benthic chest piece to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points while buying a similar item from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase weapons, armor, tools, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players through NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for various currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be applied to any tool, weapon, or armor. button, which displays a preview of the item level upgrade (visit) at the next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the item upgrades and current item level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers, for instance. After an item has been upgraded to a certain degree, it can be degraded and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of both currency types.

This change lets players upgrade their gear to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters rather than relying on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests with care, since they have only one purpose.
