Double Stroller With Car Seat Compatability

Parents of twins and other multiples will require a double stroller that can accommodate two car seats for infants at the same time. The TwinRoo+ is a tough frame stroller that fits 23 different car seat models (car seats and adapters are sold separately).

It was not as efficient in our jog tests and struggled on higher curbs. The front wheels with swivels struggle to stay on obstacles.

However, the twin umbrella stroller is only compatible with one infant car seat carrier at a time, so parents of twins must consider a different alternative if they plan to use their infant car seats together. The UPPAbaby Vista v2 double push chair and the Evenflo Pivot Xpand Double are top choices that work with two infant car seats simultaneously.

While the Baby Trend is easy to use and comes with a nice basket it falls short in our ride comfort measure. The stroller does not have shocks that are able to absorb road vibrations and bumps which could be challenging for children to ride. The absence of reclined seats means that children will feel every bump on the road. This may not be an issue as passengers get older but it is something to consider when your children are infants or toddlers.

The frame stroller weighs less than 40 lbs. It is heavy with cargo and passengers. It's hard to jog without a jog lock, and it had difficulty in navigating gravel, grass and sidewalks during our tests. The BOB Revolution is a lighter option for jogging, coming in at 41 lbs. It can still be a bit challenging to carry and lift, but it has a handle specifically made to help you do this. Jog strollers have the advantage of having larger wheels for greater off road double buggy-road performance. They have a better-built chassis and are constructed from durable materials that can withstand long-term usage.

The Contours(r), Options Elite V2 double stroller

The Contours(r) Options Elite V2 has all the features that parents love: reversible seats, one-hand reclining, adjustable leg rests, zippered extensions to the canopy and a parent cupholder. Plus, it has some new great features like the height-adjustable handle and quilted seats. It also has seven seating options, including the hard-to-find double stroller sale rear-facing position, which allows kids to see each other while watching dad and mom.

It is also an excellent option for travel because it can fold up into a compact size that can be gate-checked on a plane or stow away in your trunk.
