Midi Bed With Storage

A midi-bed with storage, also known as a cabin bed, offers the best of both sleeping areas and plenty of room to store and play toys. Make a den or make it an area for cars to park their favourite teddies with shelves they can personalise and use however they like.

Size

Midi beds are usually smaller than high sleepers and have a shorter ladder or staircase. They are therefore ideal for smaller rooms. They take only a single UK mattress and add a range of useful pieces underneath. From a cleverly constructed desk that converts into a cabinet to store bags, to sleek drawers with a smooth, non-wobble action.

Many of our midi cabin beds are offered in a variety of colours, so you can pick the one that fits your child's bedroom most. Some go further and include various bespoke storage units. This includes a desk that moves between the two on wheels, four storage drawers and two cupboards with doors all included. The Eli F takes it to the next level with doors that match the color of the chosen head and foot board.

The Luna low line loft bed, also known as a midi storage bed is compact and packed with everything you need including a ladder that can be turned, a desk that slides across the floor on wheels, a three drawer chest and cabinet all included. Some Midi loft bunk beds with storage have the desk built in (as shown above), while other models, such as our Luna midi cabin beds with storage-bunk, have the ladder on the right so that the table can be placed on the left. It's important to note that many midi loft beds with desk require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden slatted base. This isn't included in the cost of the bed, therefore we suggest looking at our mattress deals to find one that suits your budget!

Storage

It has a low level staircase that has the option of it to be turned into a desk that slides in and out on wheels, two drawers, and a cabinet with a door, all included. Mattress

Most midi beds are fitted with standard UK single mattresses. The top bunk comes with a security rail for extra security. Some models come with the option of a pull-out trundle drawer which can be used for sleeping overs, or for adding more storage space beneath the bed. These can either be open or fitted with doors (please see the product details for complete details).

Many midi cabins include a desk that can be moved from one level to another, or chests. This provides children with a unique space to store their belongings, meaning there's no need to use precious floor space with large wardrobes or shelving units.

A few of the models have taken it one step further by adding cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or is part of the headboard/footboard. This is perfect for storing toys and books.

Included are the low-level 'turned steps' as well as a desk with wheels that can slide in and out and out, the chest with three drawers, and a cabinet door.
